Suunto Advizor Heart-Rate Monitor Watch
The Suunto Advizor Heart-Rate Monitor Watch is the ideal personal trainer for outdoor people from beginners to professionals. The Advizor offers a unique combination of altimeter, barometer, electronic compass, chronometer and heart-rate monitor (HRM) in one compact package.
Your personal outdoor trainer
The Suunto Advizor not only offers an altimeter, barometer and digital compass but also dual time, easy access to daily total ascent/descent, a complete HRM, electro-luminescent backlight, user-replaceable battery and a durable plastic casing water resistant to 30 m/100 ft.
Put your heart into it
The Suunto Advizor, available with or without transmitter belt, enables you to set upper and lower limits in one-beat increments for target zone training and features audible and visual alarms alerting you if you are exceeding preset limits. Advizor’s HRM mode features auto-start heart-rate measurement, a stopwatch and an interval timer. Using either of the timers, the Advizor will store the crucial information for viewing after training including: training time, maximum, minimum and average heart rate, as well as time spent in, above and below the target zone during training.
Measure your vertical performance
The Advizor’s altimeter, ranging up to 9,000 m/29,500 ft, simultaneously displays, and stores into the logbook, current altitude, vertical ascent/descent rate and heart rate. This allows the you to follow the impact of altitude and vertical ascent rate on the heart beat while hiking, mountain biking or skiing. In addition to your total vertical ascent/descent, you can easily view your maximum, minimum and average heart rate during the day and time spent in, above or below your target zone set before you headed out.
Accurate readings
The electronic compass has a bubble level for accurate readings. In the horizontal position, when the liquid bubble of the level is centred, the Suunto Advizor is able to give bearings with 3° accuracy. Compass mode shows the cardinal or half-cardinal point and the north-south arrow and the compass can be set to track a certain bearing to help you follow the chosen direction in the terrain. The declination adjustment function allows you to correct the difference between true north and magnetic north.
Keep one step ahead of the storm
The Advizor displays the current barometric pressure and temperature, valuable information for forecasting weather changes. The Advizor automatically records barometric data for the past 4 days: the first 6 hours in 1-h intervals and after that in 6-h intervals. With the reference altitude set, present sea-level pressure is shown, making it easier to read and understand the barometric pressure at high altitude.
